Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies / Easy Vegan Starbucks Cookies
Stuff you need:
- 1 cup vegan butter (softened)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups vegan chocolate chips
How to make them:
- Heat up your oven to 350°F (175°C). Put some parchment paper on a baking sheet.
- In a big bowl, mix together the soft vegan butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until it’s all smooth.
- Add in the applesauce and vanilla extract. Keep mixing until everything’s good and mixed.
- In another bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Slowly add the dry mix into the wet mix. Keep stirring until everything is just mixed.
- Add those tasty vegan chocolate chips and mix until they’re spread out in the cookie dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the baking sheet. Make sure to leave some space between each cookie.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are a nice golden brown.
- Let the cookies chill on the baking sheet for a bit before moving them to a cooling rack.
