Vegan Chocolate Avocado Mousse:


2 ripe avocados
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
1/4 cup plant-based milk (almond milk, coconut milk, etc.)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
a pinch of salt
fresh berries and mint leaves for garnish (optional)


A. Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone, and place the pulp into a blender or food processor.
B. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup (or agave nectar), vegetable milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to a blender.
C. Mix all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Scratch the sides if necessary.
D. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness as needed. Add more maple syrup or agave syrup if desired.
e. Pour the chocolate-avocado mousse into a bowl or glass.
F. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the mousse to cool and harden.
G. Garnish with fresh berries or mint leaves if desired before serving.
